This spring break that just passed, I went To Switzerland. It was with an exchange program through my school, CSI high school. It was a great opportunity to discover another country and there culture. I stayed and lived side by side with a native Swiss girl and lived her life for a week. I went to her school and saw how her school was different from mine. My host and her friendstook some of us to Switzerlands capital, Bern. It is very famous and was a beautiful sight. We just walked around, shopped, and analyzed all the old buildings. Bern's capital is famouse for there bears so we went to vist them, where they have them in the open to experience Bern. A Swiss culture is fondu. Here, to us fondu is when we dip food into chocolate. In Switzerland, they dip bread into cheese! It was a fun, and delicious experience. Switzerland is famouse for their cheese, watches, army knifes, and the most important chocolate! Since I had to experience Swiss culture, I had to experience all of there foods. Everything was very good but very expensive. Switzerland is a vey expensive country, so everything you buy is expensive! This topic relates to my graduate profle because it shows how I am culturally sensitive. It also shows how I am socially prepared and culturally aware. My dreams for the future in ten years reflect this experience. Out of high school I want to travel around the world with my best friends. We want to go to Russia, China, Paris, Hawii, and much more. After traveling for three years, I want to go to the college to be a teacher. I would like to be a kindergarden teacher once I graduate! Before I do all of that I'm still living in New York going attending high school. I am proud to live and be a New Yorker. New York is known for there spirit! New Yorkers are proud of where they live and never want to leave, well, except me! I want to experience the world and the other culutres out there!

My digital story one reflects the graduate profile. I am literate in the twenty first century by being able to work my computer for many different things. I had to make my digital story on the computer so I am now knowledgable of how to use new programs on the computer. I am also culturally aware. My digital story is about my generation and our changes. I learned that our generations trends and culture definitely defines our generaton. In my story, it shows that ipods and apple computers are part of my generation. This new technology allows people to use the internet, check our mail, our share pictures to whoever, where ever. My digital story also reflects how I am a collaborative team member. Since this was my first digital story, I asked my friend to help me in spots that I wasnt sure of and to give me advice. We worked together to help e create my very first digital story!

I looked at three digital stories fro three different people. The story that most reflected the "Global Competent" author, was Jason in the "Trip To The Moon". Jason wil deffinitey be ready for college. He's only in the first grade and he made a wonderful digital story. This story has a setting, plot, characters, and protagonists. Jason is also literate in the 21st century. He is knowlegable of how to use the cmputer and how to make a digital story. The oly thing Jason is missing is being culturally aware.

My digital story is about change in my generation. Every generation there are any changes and that is how people remember that generation. Our changes define our geeraton and lives. It was also very fun to make this story because it was my first time making a digital story. It was first complicated in the beginning and fustrating because everyone knew what to do. Once I started to make it, I got use to the program and made a very good first digital story. I cant wait to make my second digital story so I can make an even better story!
